Citizens from the United Kingdom who have chosen Benidorm to spend their holidays have registered 3% more overnight stays than in 2019, and already account for 50% of the city’s market share. At the same time, Alicante and Valencia airports set absolute passenger records each month.
On the Costa Blanca, tourists of international origin represent 52.3% of the total, compared to 47.7% nationally. After the Spanish market, the most prominent nationalities are British (16.1%), Belgian (6.9%), Dutch (3.6%), Norwegian (3.5%), French and German (3%) . The next most representative, located between 2% and 1%, have been the Irish, Swedish, Icelandic, Italian and Polish.
