The Costa Blanca and the Visit Benidorm Foundation will strengthen their joint promotion strategy in the LGTBQ+ segment by attending the most important events in Spain and Europe focused on this group whose growth.
The calendar planned by both organizations for the coming months, as long as the sanitary measures allow it, contemplates their participation in various festivals, fairs and national events such as the Village Pride in Barcelona, which will take place from June 24 to 26, or the Madrid Pride, which will take place from July 1 to 3, which will be attended in coordination with GVA Turisme. In addition, together they will also lead the organization of the Benidorm
Pride that will be held next September. “The Benidorm Pride, which reaches its tenth edition, has established itself as a great event within the international Pride circuit and offers a whole week of activities, parades and shows in various parts of the city,” said Toni Pérez.
On a European level, Costa Blanca and Benidorm will focus their attention on the German market and, to this end, they will attend, together with Turespaña, the Christofer Street Days -CSD- in Cologne (on July 3), Berlin (on July 22 ) and Hamburg (on August 5, 6 and 7). Likewise, the two tourist entities are expected to participate in the workshop of the annual global convention of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association, which in 2022 will take place in Milan from October 26 to 29 with the presence of agents, companies and tour operators. specialized in this segment from all over the world.
